Our Viral Dubai Pistachio Kanafeh Chocolat Bar is back in stock! We will be selling 30 per day Wednesday through Saturday and they are first come-first serve in store only. They are $35 each and are limited to up to 2 per paying customer. Unfortunately we cannot take pre-orders, email orders, phone orders or hold any bars aside at this time. Never in my wildest dreams did I think a month ago when I was recipe testing the viral Dubai chocolate knafeh bar that it would get so busy. Thank you so much for all your visits and orders. Just finished the last batch of my pistachio cream so the bar will be on pause after today.
For those who didn’t know, this is not the actual viral Dubai bar. I’ve never tasted it but I wanted something very similar. Our contains two types of pistachio cream, @valrhonausa chocolate, @soomfoods tahini, toasted pistachios, and most importantly, toasted katafi. Every step from washing the molds, polishing them, painting with cocoa butter, toasting the katafi, and adding the right amount of each ingredient is done thoughtfully and is worth every long minute.

Hi! I’m going to post now before I lose steam (again). Our small team is growing! And by small, I mean it is literally just me (Hanna), Tarek, Sylvia, Chunyan and now we’ve added James as our kitchen assistant! If you see an unfamiliar face in the shop helping you, say hello! James is new to the chocolate industry but has a passion for baking. His calm energy helps us all when we are under pressure and best of all he is a local East Bay! Now that the store is quiet and I can sit down and put my thoughts down, I want to thank everyone for all the amazing business we have had due to this viral knafeh pistachio bar. Your lovely reviews, comments, mentions, emails, messages have brought literal tears to my eyes. It’s been a hard couple of weeks keeping up with production working with only 10 molds. Good news is I received more molds yesterday so it should be easier to produce more bars at one time. I’m sorry if you traveled far and left empty handed. It is never my intention to hold out on anyone! My ultimate goal is to be able to sell in stores again without having to preorder. Will keep you posted! Thank you simply isn’t enough!! 💚💚💚
I thought I’d give you a rundown on how we make the viral Dubai Pistachio Kunefah bars!
1. Chop the kataifi 2. Melt the butter 3. Toss the kataifi in melted butter, then add salt, and toast it in the oven until it is nicely browned and crispy 4. Next, toast the pistachios 5. Add some cocoa butter and white chocolate to the tahini and pistachio cream 6. Fill the molds, let the filling set a bit, then cap the bars!

Wish I could personally thank everyone who has come and tried our version of the viral Dubai Pistachio Kunefah bar. Milk chocolate is clearly the favorite! It’s full of of texture, crispy phyllo pieces (kunefa), tahini, white chocolate, toasted pistachios and pistachio cream. I always say whenever I create or recreate something, a piece of me goes with it. All heart and soul! 💚 Happy Sunday!
